About us Au Clair du Sud was created by Claire Wakely who has been married for 15 years to Oliver. They have 3 children and live in St Gély du Fesc near Montpellier. Claire is French and speaks fluent english and Oliver vice versa! Claire holds a Masters degree in Political Science from Toulouse and a post graduate degree in bilingual journalism (French-English) from the Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris, as well as 10 years marketing experience in the UK. After years spent in careers of marketing, journalism and business analysis in the UK and France, Claire decided she wanted to share her love and enthusiasm for the French Language and the Languedoc Roussillon region, hence Au Clair du Sud was born!
